In an era when medicine is shifting toward managed care and patients are often becoming just a number, I want to rekindle the concept of the patient-doctor relationship and treat each patient as an individual with dignity and compassion. This is the reason I converted my practice to concierge medicine, so that I can spend ample time with each individual and guide them through their healing process.
Having the ability to practice medicine is truly a gift and I take that most seriously as my patients put their trust in me for their health matters. I chose Internal Medicine and Endocrinology as my subspecialty as it deals with disorders that are chronic, and requiring lifelong management; and in turn allow me the privilege of forming life long bonds with my patients.
My goal is to practice evidence-based medicine, while focusing on the patient as every therapy is not for every patient. With this in mind I feel that I will best be able to deliver a personalized degree of medical care in a concierge setting where I can fully evaluate each individual, understand their needs and make an accurate diagnosis and personalized plan of care.
